On June 7, 2024, the first meeting of the FACTS VET Force project was held, marking the official start of this important Erasmus+ initiative. During the meeting, the project partners—including IES Lluis Simarro (Spain), ALPE (Spain), Associação Empresarial de Penafiel (Portugal), and AIVE (Romania)—came together to discuss and distribute the tasks essential for the project’s success.
Key activities were allocated to each partner: IES Lluis Simarro took charge of project management, AIVE was assigned the development of the FACTS VET Force Booklet, Associação Empresarial de Penafiel was designated to lead the organization of the three-day FACTS VET Force Competition, and ALPE was tasked with overseeing the dissemination of the project’s results.
Additionally, the partners scheduled the first in-person meeting, set to take place in Valencia, where further coordination and detailed planning will occur. The meeting also reinforced the project’s primary objectives, including empowering VET students with critical digital skills, combating misinformation, and promoting civic engagement. The partners agreed on clear milestones to ensure the project stays on track to achieve these ambitious goals.
