Mission

Empowering Generations to Combat Misinformation in the Digital Age

This topic is crucial because we live in a digital age in which disinformation and fake news spread rapidly, affecting the way we perceive the world around us. The ability to distinguish between facts and falsehoods is essential to maintaining the integrity of our societies and democracies. Equipping students with critical digital skills not only makes them more aware consumers of information, but also prepares them to be active citizens, able to contribute positively to society. Furthermore, by empowering teachers and trainers with innovative educational tools, we ensure that future generations are better prepared to face the challenges of the digital world.

FACTS VET Force Booklet FACTS VET Force Competition

The FACTS VET Force Booklet and FACTS VET Force Competition are central to the FACTS VET Force project, designed to equip VET students and educators with vital digital skills to tackle misinformation. The Booklet, divided into six modules, provides practical insights into disinformation, fact-checking, and media literacy. The Competition is a three-day event where VET students from across Europe work together to develop creative awareness campaigns, reinforcing their understanding and application of these crucial topics. These initiatives aim to boost media literacy, promote civic engagement, and encourage international collaboration.
