The project’s target groups include VET students, VET teachers and trainers, entrepreneurs and business sector professionals, Entrepreneur Clubs within partner institutions, and indirect beneficiaries such as local communities, educational authorities, and sustainability stakeholders.
Context
In the context of the accelerating green and digital transition across Europe, this EcoDigital+ project addresses the urgent need to equip VET learners, teachers, and institutions with integrated digital and sustainable competences. It responds to the twin transition challenge by promoting a quality-assured, innovative, and inclusive framework that combines entrepreneurship, digital readiness, and environmental responsibility within vocational education and training.
The objective of the EcoDigital+ Erasmus+ project is to develop and pilot an innovative and inclusive framework for entrepreneurship education in Vocational Education and Training (VET), focused on the twin transition — digital transformation and environmental sustainability. Through the EcoDigital+ Manual, an International Hackathon and the creation of Entrepreneur Clubs, the project will equip VET students and teachers with digital, green and entrepreneurial competences aligned with European priorities and the EntreComp framework. EcoDigital+ aims to create a transferable model that strengthens cooperation between VET institutions and the business sector, promoting sustainable innovation, employability and active citizenship in a rapidly changing labour market.
The EcoDigital+ project will deliver a structured and transferable framework for integrating sustainable entrepreneurship and the twin transition into VET education. Key results include the EcoDigital+ Manual with practical modules and pedagogical tools, an International Hackathon model focused on digital and green innovation, and the establishment of Entrepreneur Clubs in each partner institution to ensure long-term sustainability and replication. These outputs will support quality, inclusion and innovation in VET, strengthening digital readiness, environmental responsibility and cooperation between education and the business sector.
The project will deliver structured methodologies, practical templates and operational guidelines to strengthen the quality and consistency of entrepreneurship education within VET. These outputs will include a modular pedagogical framework, implementation guidelines for Entrepreneur Clubs, and structured tools to support the integration of digital and green competences into VET curricula. The materials will follow clear quality assurance principles, ensuring consistency, transferability and long-term sustainability across partner institutions.
